RVYLA Spring Wrap Up

It was a very busy and exciting Spring for the RVYLA with many milestones. We had our first ever youth lacrosse league with participants from Jacksonville, Central Point, Medford, Phoenix, Talent and Ashland making up 4 boys teams and 2 girls.

We also introduced the sport through P.E. classes at Phoenix Elementary, John Muir School, Lone Pine, Jefferson, Hoover, Mae Richardson, St. Marys and Kids Unlimited. 100’s of 3-6th grade students were able to try lacrosse for their first time and learn a little of the history of the sport.

Lastly we partnered with the Ashland YMCA to offer a Spring Break Camp which was great.

We are excited for the summer!
