RVYLA Partners With Ashland School District for Summer Program

RVYLA introduced the sport of Lacrosse to students Kindergarten - 8th grade participating in Ashland’s Summer School Program. The program was located at Bellview Elementary and spanned six weeks July 12-August 20th with each week bringing a new group of students. Best moments of the program included a 2nd grade student stating after only one day of lacrosse “ Coach, do you know the reason that I love summer school? It’s because of lacrosse.” After a full week of lacrosse a 4th grader arrived the following Monday to state “Coach! I finally got my own lacrosse stick this weekend!” as if he had been waiting for the majority of his life to own one. Young lacrosse players emerged!
